If you’re not artistic this could be a problem. Sitting down with your kids and trying to draw something that you can use along with the rest of your indoor Easter décor isn’t like tracing your hand in order to make a Thanksgiving turkey.
Time To Break Out The Construction Paper And Crayons
If drawing really isn’t your thing there are suggestions on
Easter decorating web sites with pictures and stencils that you can print up on your home printer and utilize for your kids. Even pages from coloring books can be colored and then cut out by children with safety scissors or an adult (safety scissors optional). The really great part about the coloring book idea is that they don’t even have to stay in the lines, since you’ll be cutting around them any ways.
In Your Easter Bonnet With All The Frills Upon It…
In addition to drawing Easter bunnies, little yellow chicks, tulips and other
spring flowers—if you have girls at home—try decorating your own Easter bonnets. Even organizing an Easter parade in which the girls can wear their bonnets in your neighborhood is a great idea for neighborhoods with lots of kids. The boys can of course utilize their artistic skills in another way and both can compete for prizes.
Easter can be fun for all ages; you simply need to know how to attract the attention of all ages.
Being able to take the time to have a road trip can be an amazing adventure because you get to go to places you haven't been before or haven't been in a while
Checking Out Your Neighborhood
You might never have taken the time to see what your neighborhood has to present as far as cool things to check out. Perhaps there is a farmers market you do not know about, or
bowling alley with a really nice
bowling pro shop inside. These are things that you might be missing out on, and they can be a really good time.
Planning Your New Adventures
Always be sure that you have a few hours set aside to explore and take your time. You will find this time is very relaxing because you don't have the everyday stresses involved when it comes to shopping at a farmers market. Break out the permanent markers and buy yourself a pair of white trainers; now show everyone how artistic you can be. Colors, words, objects… What will you use to make a statement?
Shoes That Say Something About You
This isn’t something that I would recommend if you’re, say, a kid whose mom has spent her hard earned cash on the pair of trainers you simply had to have; however, if you’re an adult and you pay for your own shoes there’s certainly no harm in decorating them to fit your personality.
More Than Just One Way To Decorate A Shoe
Crazy laces with crazy colors and designs, permanent markers, appliqués with adhesive backs or beads; all of these are ways with which you can personalize or just crazily decorate your trainers. Of course when we were in school we simply used our ballpoint pens; our parents absolutely loved that (not!). Come to think of it we used our ballpoint pens on our jeans as well. That was equally as popular with parents.
Clothing says an awful lot about the person wearing it. Power suits mean business. Tee shirts and sweats lean toward athletic. Shoes with crazy laces and wild, colorful designs… You tell me.
